Two Faces of Righteousness

Brazenly attacking people is always a violation of basic principles of human decency. Yet we seem to compromise one while devaluing the other. I suppose it depends upon the nature of the attack or the value of whom being attacked.
America screamed bitterly when its citizens in distress cried out to defund the police; yet this same America hails to the world to defund Russia, at whatever the cost. We should sacrifice for the cause of righteousness. Do we choose the righteousness we will sacrifice for?
Do we value the lives of others while devaluing the lives in our beloved America?
The inequities within a system government that would allow inherent racism to continue to coexist with its truth of righteousness, is in itself a government aligned with the philosophy of the very nation that it screams out against.
Though I love America, the fight for me is much greater here than aboard. The mere speaking of teaching the true history of a nation, becomes political banter. Officers who murder its citizenry, because they feel threaten, instead of deescalating the confrontations. When one can get 75 days in jail with a$5,000 fine for treason and threats to a sitting Vice President; it is no different than Russia attempt to regain its dissolute states.
This piece is not to give a black eye to my beloved America, but to question the righteousness called for when my brothers and sisters are dying and we blindly go about our day. How do the devalued survive? Does America's righteousness have two faces?
