I know this has made the news cycle a thousand times over, but my anger has subsided just enough to put thought to this madness. One would think that a nations value and strength comes from the investment it places in its future and its people. One would believe that as a "Christian Nation" certainly its citizens or leaders would not bow down and worship at the feet of anyone or idol that would ask them to sacrifice their children. Certainly not in this nation.
A nation that appears ready to change the abortion laws through the courts, appears to be willing to sacrifice its children for the right to own and carry assault weapons. The leaders are so willing for this right that they refuse to put simple safety red flags in place to prevent the wrong element from obtaining these military weapons. Is the NRA now the church of our politicians that the nations children are not of any importance?
We argue and fight over Plan Parenthood and abortions and yet we allow living babies to be aborted for the right to obtain weapons of mass murders. Are we sacrificing our babies for the pleasure of idols.
Why can't our leaders agree on simple background checks before a person can purchase a weapon? How is it that a 18 year old can purchase an assault weapon? They are not in the military. Why would they need one?
How long will we allow the leaders in Washington to political spin every issue we send them to Washington to solve for us? Republican, Democrats; they are all the same. Political Parasites stagnating this treasured country into poverty.
As much as I want to blame them , I can not. We the people sent them to D.C. . The same stagnate non productive , finger pointing, lie spewing, party affiliated, demagogues. We reelect the same monsters every cycle and we gain nothing. Are we apart of the sacrifice of our babies?
When will we make a true change for our children.Sacrificing our babies should never be an option... Only Yahweh can help us....
